A few years ago, Owen suffered a serious head injury that changed his life forever. What started as a scary accident has turned into a long and difficult journey of recovery. Since that injury, Owen has developed nocturnal seizures — seizures that happen while he’s asleep. These seizures are unpredictable and dangerous, and every night brings a new wave of worry and fear.

For Owen, this service dog wouldn’t just be a companion it would be a lifeline. The dog would help him feel safe enough to sleep in his own bed, give him confidence to go to school and play with friends, and allow him to do the things every 9-year-old should get to do without constant fear.
