  • The Need

    Robert Janczak

Rob has been passionate about cooking since his teens, starting in restaurants and building a long career with Wegmans, where he became a trusted leader in the kitchen. He met his wife, Amy, there, and together they’re raising their daughter, Buffy, the light of his life. Rob is also a devoted Buffalo Bills fan and a lifelong lover of heavy metal music.

This past Easter, Rob noticed his skin had turned yellow and was later diagnosed with Stage 3 pancreatic cancer. He underwent a complex Whipple surgery and began chemotherapy, but soon faced life-threatening complications, including severe sepsis, kidney injury, and a dangerous infection. Thanks to expert care and his determination, he survived and made it home, but his fight is far from over.

The financial burden from medical bills, treatment, and lost income has been overwhelming. Funds raised through sales of this design will help support Rob as he continues his recovery and support his family during this difficult journey. Please consider a purchase or a donation to his online fundraiser.
