The Need
On Thursday November 17th Patrick was faced with a cardiac event leaving him on the floor of the Cuba-Rushford school gymnasium. After Community members performed life saving measures, Patrick was rushed to the hospital where he was left in ICU intubated and sedated for several days awaiting his defibrillator.
At 39 years old Patrick is the embodiment of an outstanding and admirable man. With a large family of three children, two stepchildren and fostering an additional teenager one would think time for other activities would be wavering. Besides working a full-time factory job and being a full-time father, he coaches various sports including Varsity Basketball, 3rd-5th grade basketball, summer league basketball, Twin Tiers 8U baseball and even volunteering as VP for little league.
With a long road to recovery ahead and trying to adjust to life's new normal, the outpour of love and support from the community has been heartfelt! Please consider a shirt purchase to help support Patrick.
The Artist
Dylan Winters is a Graphic Designer focusing on sports identity, logo design and branding. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, but now living in Uniontown, PA with his beautiful wife and daughters. In May 2014, Dylan graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design. Since, he has had the opportunity to freelance with the Pittsburgh Pirates and is always looking for opportunities in the sports design industry.
