  • The Need

    Owen Krantz, beneficiary

    Owen Krantz

A few years ago, Owen suffered a serious head injury that changed his life forever. What started as a scary accident has turned into a long and difficult journey of recovery. Since that injury, Owen has developed nocturnal seizures — seizures that happen while he’s asleep. These seizures are unpredictable and dangerous, and every night brings a new wave of worry and fear.

For Owen, a seizure alert service dog wouldn’t just be a companion, it would be a lifeline. The dog would help him feel safe enough to sleep in his own bed, give him confidence to go to school and play with friends, and allow him to do the things every 9-year-old should get to do without constant fear.

Funds raised through sales of this design will go towards the training, certification, care and supplies needed to help the dog and Owen work together successfully. Please consider a purchase or a donation to his online fundraiser.
