  • The Need

    Kerry Collins

Whether she was grading papers or rushing from a hockey rink to a basketball court and then to a lacrosse field, Kerry lived her life for her boys, family and friends. She was the ultimate "Sports Mom," never missing a game if possible. Alongside her partner, Rob, they built a life centred on family, hard work, and a deep devotion to their boys. To her friends, she was the person you could always count on for a laugh or a listening ear. But to Avery and Macen, she was simply "Mom"—their biggest fan and  their loudest cheerleader.

As a daughter, sister, and friend, she was the glue that held so many circles together. Her passing has left an unimaginable void not only on the bleachers and on the sidelines where she spent so many of her happiest moments.

Our community lost a bright light with the passing of Kerry. Her family not only lost a loved one, but also a big source of support. Funds raised through sales of this design will help create a "safety net" for Rob, Avery and Macen to cover outstanding medical bills and daily life expenses over time.
