For the past several years, Bill Gentner has been quietly facing a difficult battle with small cell lung cancer. After his diagnosis, Bill began chemotherapy, but the treatments took a serious toll on his health and quality of life. He ultimately made the difficult decision to discontinue chemotherapy and pursue other treatment options.

At the time, Bill was given a very limited prognosis. Instead, he has been grateful for more than two additional years with the people he loves, making memories with family and friends and continuing to enjoy life whenever his health allows.

Throughout it all, Bill has remained determined and resilient, but the financial burden of his care has continued to grow. Many of the treatments he is pursuing are not covered by insurance, creating significant out-of-pocket expenses for Bill and his family.

Hailing from parts unknown (he lives in York,PA now), Zachary Rupert is a two-time graduate of a for-profit art school that closed because its parent company was being investigated and sued for misleading claims in its efforts to recruit students. He has been active in the design field for over 10 years, and is currently a senior designer at YRK Creative.
