In 2019, Alyson was diagnosed with incurable Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer, just as her youngest child turned 10 months old. With no cure, treatment focuses on slowing the cancer’s spread and easing its impact on her life. Since then, it has progressed to her bones, liver, abdomen, and other areas. Now on her fourth line of treatment, Alyson remains hopeful it will hold the cancer at bay and give her more time to make memories with loved ones, explore nature, travel, and revisit the magic of Disney.

Alyson is passionate about raising awareness for MBC to increase research funding for terminal patients still searching for a cure. A proud sports fan and WNY native, she’s deeply grateful for the continued love and support from her community.

Anna Ellis is an illustrator, designer, cookie connoisseur and lifelong member of Bills Mafia. Her large and loving family always encouraged her to try new things and go new places, but she always found herself drawn back to her first love: art. A true child at heart, her work often includes her favorite things: bright colors, dinosaurs, chocolate chip cookies, and of course her dogs.
