  • The Need

    Amy Gietzen

    Amy has been battling an incurable autoimmune disease called Scleroderma since 2001. This has led to the weakening of her heart, lungs, esophagus, and other organs in her body. She has undergone multiple surgeries, procedures, testing, and treatments. She has now exhausted all treatment options except for one known as IVIG (immunoglobulin). Unfortunately, IVIG will not be fully covered by Amy’s insurance leaving her with an overwhelming medical bill.
