  • The Need

    Carson Shanahan

Meet Carson Shanahan! Carson is a kind, funny, intelligent, wonderful 13-year-old who is bravely continuing to battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma. Carson was diagnosed in February 2024. After two full cycles of chemotherapy and a difficult, invasive surgery, Carson received the incredible news he was cancer-free in December 2024. He had the chance to ring the bell at Roswell in February 2025, celebrating the end of his journey. But just three short months later, the Shanahan family's world was turned upside down again — the cancer had returned. Now, Carson is undergoing second-line chemotherapy and exploring every opportunity for clinical trials. Carson is an incredibly brave young man who is a fighter, and he and his family can use all the support they can get as they face this difficult challenge. Please consider a purchase or donation to his online fundraiser.
