The Need
Lori was diagnosed 7.5 years ago with breast cancer and went through the gauntlet of treatments - chemo, mastectomy, radiation, and reconstruction. She was put on a maintenance pill and did follow ups with her oncologist. February 2023 after feeling a pop when she coughed, she had a bone scan which showed that the cancer had come back in her bones & liver.
She has now gone through a course of radiation and is now currently going thru chemo every 3 weeks to keep her cancer levels in a normal range. Her cancer is terminal and is not going to go away. She hopes to keep it at bay and manage it through radiation and chemo, which is working so far.
