    The Need

    David got diagnosed with inclusion body myositis four years ago. This autoimmune disease attacks his body’s skeletal muscles.  This affects his hands, ankles, feet, thighs, and swallowing. David has been disabled for 4 years due to this disease and from having heart failure. This design will help raise money to help defer costs to make his and his wife's home more wheelchair accessible as well as a needed ceiling lift for their bathroom.
