The Need
In June 2013, Thomas Ackley Jr. 5 years old was diagnosed with stage four Neuroblastoma. A rare type of childhood cancer that develops in infants and young children along with bone cancer. Roswell Park was able to get TJ in remission. This year, he was diagnosed for the second time with stage four terminal Neuroblastoma Cancer.
