    The Need

Lincoln was born with a rare heart condition called Tetrology of Fallot, which is a combination of 4 defects in the structure of his heart. It would severely impact the amount of oxygen he would get throughout his body. The only treatment was to have an open heart surgery at 9-12 months. Unfortunately, his symptoms took a turn for the worse and was rushed to Golisano Hospital to have the procedure at less than 4 weeks old.

Along with Lincoln’s heart condition, he was also born with an airway issue called laryngomalacia. Due to his history, this escalates the possibility of severe respiratory illness.  He has been admitted to Children’s Hospital twice over the past 2 years for week long stays with RSV. During the winter months we hold our breath in hopes that he remains healthy.

He will need regular checkups for life and the financial impact with outstanding medical bills has been straining. After all that, Lincoln enjoys trying to keep up with his 3 older siblings, baseball, Blippi and Cocomelon. Funds raised through this campaign will help support Lincoln.
