On November 9, 2022, Jennifer Damboise was diagnosed with Stage III b, “Triple Positive” Metastatic Breast Cancer. While she is very lucky to have an amazing Oncology/Surgical care team, she must travel over two hours roundtrip for almost all of her appointments. This type of breast cancer requires a year of treatments which are given every 3 weeks. Treatments include chemotherapy and immunotherapy drugs. Her treatments will continue until December 27, 2023.

This is one of the hardest cancer treatment regimens to complete and the side effects of the first 6 treatments were horrendous. Most of her time was spent on her couch unable to function. Since June 8th, she has undergone two surgeries, one of which was unexpectedly very in-depth. Soon she will begin radiation treatments, followed by hormone therapy for a minimum of 5 years.

Funds raised through this campaign will go toward medical costs, fuel/traveling, and other necessities that pop up along her journey.
