The Need
The Mental Health Association in Niagara County has been proudly serving the community since our founding in 1964. We offer free programs that promote mental wellness, provide needed services for those with a mental health diagnosis, and actively work to alleviate the stigma and public misunderstanding of mental illness.
We recognize that mental illness cuts across all social, economic, age and gender lines. We also recognize that mental illness touches us all. We may have family members, friends or co-workers who are affected by mental illness. Knowing how to recognize when someone needs help, and when to give it, can help our community be a better and safer place to live.
