Evy was diagnosed at 3 months old with a rare disease called west syndrome (infantile spasms). She has spent much of her life in children's hospital. She went on to have multiple diagnosis including severe refractory epilepsy (medicine resistant). Evy is oxygen dependent and requires a feeding tube. Her doctors are at a stand point and don't think there is much more they can do.

Evy's family wants to get further help at another hospital. Unfortunately it would be out of NYS and the family has already drained their savings due to frequent hospital stays. Evy's parents have not able to work as they have 5 other children including Evy's twin brother.
