Skylar Rae Chardeen is a 13 year old from Macedon NY who was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a very rare and aggressive cancer in June 2021.  She underwent close to a year of chemo and radiation at Golisano’s Children’s Hospital along with a treatment she started at Levine Children’s in Charlotte NC. Skylar fought as hard as she could until her last breath on May 15 2022.  She was a true inspiration of strength, love, and perseverance.  Her family and friends are grieving her loss. Her family was by her side throughout her entire journey.  Skylar was a huge Buffalo Bills fan.  Due to treatment costs and insurance restrictions, the family has endured severe financial hardships.  Funds raised in this campaign will go to help Skylar’s family pay for her medical bills that are still coming in.
