On January 22nd, 5 year old Owen was diagnosed with Pre BCell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. While the doctors believe they found it early and initial prognosis was very good, further testing showed that Owen tested positive for an incredibly rare subtype of Leukemia called Philadelphia Chromosome Positive  Pre BCell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (PH+ PreB ALL). This new discovery moves Owen from a standard risk to a very high risk category which means more aggressive treatment, more hospital visits and higher risk of infection and hospital admission.

While Owen stays in good spirits, his age and his autism diagnosis prevent him from really understanding why he can’t run and climb and play the way he is used to. All money raised will go directly towards Owen’s medical expenses as we are at the very beginning of his long journey.
