    The Need

In October 2021, Anthony felt pain in his hip, radiating to his groin. His doctor ordered a testicular ultrasound to see if that's where the problem stemmed from. Sure enough, a very small lump was present, so Anthony was referred to a urologist. The urologist decided to wait 2-3 months and do another scan at that time to see if there were any changes.

During the period of waiting for follow up, Anthony and his wife Caroline learned they were pregnant with their second child. In January, Anthony started developing severe pain and a very noticeable lump on his testicle. His urologist decided to schedule surgery for 2/2/2022. Anthony had one of his testicles removed that day and found out that the lump was cancerous. 100% embryonal carcinoma, the most aggressive kind of testicular cancer. Unfortunately a few days later, they miscarried.

They were still hopeful they'd be able to try again, until Anthony had a CT scan done after surgery and found out his cancer had spread to his retroperitoneal lymph nodes and he would need to do chemotherapy. Between 4 cycles of chemo, the miscarriage, blood transfusions, and picc line infections, it was almost impossible to work.

The Mortons have drained through their savings. All money raised in this campaign will directly support them. Please consider a shirt purchase or donation to Anthony's online fundraiser.
