    The Need

    Elena is the true definition of a warrior.

    In 2016, Elena was diagnosed with Leukemia and after a stem cell transplant was also diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. Elena and her husband, Frank, tried starting a family and in 2019 they lost their daughter and also Elena’s kidney disease progressed to stage 4.

    Fast forward to today, they adopted a beautiful son (Lorenzo) and began their family. Her kidney disease however is now at stage 5 and she needs a kidney transplant.
