The Patricia Allen Fund at Oishei Children’s Hospital (OCH) benefits the Critical Care Team, which includes the specialized care provided through services such as the pediatric emergency department, the only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in the region, pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and pediatric and neonatal transport teams, which ensure the most critical cases safely arrive to OCH. The Patricia Allen Fund was created following an outpouring of donations from across the world as a show of support for Josh Allen after the loss of his grandmother, Patricia Allen. With Josh Allen and his family’s input, and over $1 million in donations in just 6 weeks, the Fund was established to provide ongoing financial support for equipment, education, training and care at OCH. Online purchases of this design result in an $8 donation being made, while retail purchases at Crosby's results in an 8% donation.
