    The Need

    Liv4TheCure

Liv4TheCure’s goal is to bring awareness to rare diseases, specifically Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome, which is a genetic deletion on the 4th chromosome that affects children in highly varied ways. All funds will go to research, specifically gene therapy and replacement for the missing areas of the 4th chromosome that have been deleted.

Liv4TheCure wants to fund the creation of a new platform technology such as CRISPR that will not only help children with WHS but any child with a genetic deletion.

    Landon Murray Hartz

Landon Murray Hartz, the son of Lauren Murray Hartz and Robert Hartz, was born with Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome in December 2017. Since his birth, there has been an outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and strangers looking for ways to help him navigate his life’s journey.

There is much that’s still unknown about this rare disease’s affect on Landon: Will he walk? Will he talk? Money raised will help with the family’s purchase of various aids to help with cognitive and physical development. The Hartz Family has expressed that Landon’s already taught so many about gratitude and perseverance. They are grateful for your consideration in giving back to Liv4TheCure and their son, Landon.
