Mike Canter was recently diagnosed with an enlarged and failing liver. As end-stage liver failure is irreversible, he has qualified to be placed on the transplant list. If and when a liver becomes available, Mike will be required to act immediately, and drop everything for surgery. It will be necessary that he take leave from work to recover for a few months, and he does not qualify for disability assistance. Mike is relying on, and asking for the generosity and help of others to get him through this emotional and financially difficult time. Along with his personal fight, Mike champions organ donors, and encourages other to register as a donor if they are able.
