Nolan Lowry has had multiple diagnoses throughout the years. Although he may come across as having absolutely no difficulties, inside Nolan's brain he is working extra hard to navigate multiple social situations due symptoms of autism, OCD, and ADHD. Those rules of society do not come easy to him and he sometimes has difficulties making and keeping friends, navigating conversations, and keeping on task and organized. More recently he has started refusing school because of the anxiety of trying to figure out the social interactions at school.
Nolan regularly is confused, anxious, and sad inside while he is smiling on the outside. Recently, his family has linked Nolan with a wonderful service dog organization located in California that will help Nolan in reducing his anxiety, sadness, decreasing repetitive behaviors, and provide him social boundaries while in public.
These service dogs are trained specifically for people like Nolan, but unfortunately are not inexpensive. We want to help! Please consider a shirt purchase or donation to the family's online fundraiser.
