On June 24, 2016, just three days after the school year ended, Araceli Hernandez was diagnosed with Anaplastic Astrocytoma, a rare malignant brain tumor that develops on and around nerves cells. Araceli's doctors soon discovered that the tumor in her brain was growing so rapidly, it increased significantly in size in just a few weeks' time. Surgery was performed to remove as much of the tumor as possible, but the tumor's location makes surgery very dangerous. A titanium plate took the place of a large piece of her skull. Araceli is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, but with every treatment, every pill and every hospital stay the costs of Araceli's fight rises. Family savings are exhausted and the financial burden of Araceli's fight is taking a toll on the family. Please consider a shirt purchase or donation to their online fundraiser to help this Chicago family as they continue to fight this horrific disease, because NO ONE SHOULD FIGHT ALONE.
