    The Need

Amy and Bill met in 2003 and married eight years later, blending their families in 2011. Already a father to his own child, Bill also stepped into the role of Dad for Amy’s kids effortlessly; The kind of man who attended every wrestling match, sporting event, dance, and school function. It didn’t matter what, Bill was always there. About a year and a half ago, doctors diagnosed Bill with Glioblastoma and discovered two tumors on his brain. They were able to remove one, and he went on to receive extensive chemotherapy and radiation at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Recently, they found additional tumors, and the one he was already being treated for had grown approximately 25% in five weeks. Bill went through intravenous chemotherapy, infusions, and immunotherapy. Then, doctors found the newer tumors to have doubled in size, and unfortunately, Bill passed away in late September. Needless to say, the medical expenses for all of this are overwhelming. Bill leaves behind his wife Amy and five beautiful children: William, Kelsey, Connor, Declan, who is five and just started Kindergarten, and Delany, who is only two. Amy is deeply struggling to comfort their kids while managing the cost of an unplanned funeral on top of all the medical bills.
