    The Need

Trenton Washburn, a 9th grader at Perry High School, was diagnosed with B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on 8/12/20. Trenton is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments for the next 2-3 years. Trenton loves to play football and baseball. His favorite sports team is the Buffalo Bills, and he especially likes Stefon Diggs. In his free time, and when he’s feeling good, he loves to play Xbox with his friends online. If he’s not doing that he likes watching his favorite movie, the Sandlot. Leukemia is a cancer of blood forming tissues, hindering the body's ability to fight infections. He has needed several blood and platelet transfusions, and will need more throughout his treatments. Funds raised will help his family with medical insurance costs, gas or car maintenance, and to care for him when he is sick. His family would like to thank everyone for all the love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
