    The Need

On Aug. 20, William and Amanda Green were hiking with their two young sons, Jacob, 7, and Alexander, 4, in Zoar Valley, a state preserve about 35 miles south of Buffalo, when the family fell down the gorge. Both parents died. Alexander was badly hurt. Erie County sheriff's deputies found Jacob walking along the gorge floor with a broken ankle and arm. Jacob spent about a week and a half at the old Women & Children's Hospital and Alexander spent a month there. Now, the boys are living with their grandparents, going back to school and figuring out how to go on without Mommy and Daddy. This is a tragic situation, and we want to help.

    The Sponsor

About ComDoc: From the first day our doors were opened on October 15th, 1955, ComDoc has helped hundreds of thousands of customers grow and realize their organizational goals through complete document management. Whether it's Xerox office equipment, Managed Print Services, workflow solutions, or Xerox production devices, ComDoc has a solution to meet your every need.

About the Idea: Inspired by the grateful Buffalo fans who began donating to the Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation after Dalton's clutch TD pass sent the team to the playoffs for the first time in 17 years, one of ComDoc's Buffalo employees, Scott McCarthy came up with the idea to have our Buffalo and Cincinnati offices collaborate on a sponsorship that will help two great causes. ComDoc is excited to sponsor the current 26 Shirts design, Special Edition: "Thank You". In addition to the sponsorship, ComDoc's Cincinnati, Buffalo and Corporate offices will be donating to both causes (thanks to Tim Combs, Scott Corcoran and Gordy Opitz) that the shirt benefits, the Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation and the WNY Perinatal Bereavement Network.
