In early January 2021, Keely’s family noticed a fairly large bump on Keeley's neck. They waited about a week to see if it would go away. When it didn't, they went to the doctor. After a round of antibiotics, an ultrasound and a visit with her ENT, they still didn't have an answer. Next set of appointments included an appointment with a hematologist, a CT and surgery to get the lump removed for biopsy. Keeley was diagnosed with Nodular Sclerosing Hodgkin's Lymphoma in March. After that, everything moved fairly quickly. She had more scans, surgery to have her mediport placed and chemo treatments all started before the end of March.
