The Need

The oldest of three girls, Abbi Pettit is a 15-year-old girl from Olean who needs a miracle. Abbi has three brain tumors and is in the fight of her life. Her mom, Emily Bean, is a single mom and struggling to hold it all together.

Back in December, Abbi’s doctors found out she has three tumors on her brain (one in the thalamus, one in the cerebellum, and one in the brain stem aka pons). She's also suffering from hydrocephalus - which is another name for "fluid on the brain." Since then, Abbi spent more than a month at Oishei Children’s Hospital and now has to travel between Olean and Buffalo for treatment.

Since December, Abbi’s had six brain surgeries. Doctors have tried several different treatments to try to shrink and remove the tumors, but things just haven’t worked.
