    The Need

Last spring, Jim Cheman went to the hospital with severe stomach pain. His original diagnosis was a ruptured appendix and then Chrohns disease. Upon further investigation, they discovered Colon Cancer. Jim went through an eleven-hour surgery for a partial colon removal and another two hours of a vigorous chemotherapy treatment that is referred to as “shake and bake” (an experience better explained by him in person). His appendix was also removed along with half of his iliopsoas muscle in his leg. Jimmy had a port implanted in his chest for the chemotherapy infusion that he has been receiving every two weeks for the past six months. The side effects have prevented Jim from working ever since his surgery. Our hope now is that his body scan shows that the cancer has been eliminated. Please consider a shirt purchase or online donation to Jim's online fundraiser.
