    The Need

    On May 24th, Nate was diagnosed with Guillian-Barre Syndrome (GBS), a disease that attacks healthy nerves and can leave some temporarily paralyzed and unable to breathe on their own. This was the case for Nate. He spent 60 days in a hospital where he was required to re-learn basic tasks, including breathing, eating and even sitting up out of bed. 

    While he is doing much better, Nate is the primary provider of the family with his wife, Leesha, and two small girls at home. He has not yet returned to work full time making bills hard to pay. Every day he is working towards having his “normal” life back.
