    The Need

In January of 2021, Alex was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer. Because it had spread to nearby lymph nodes and other organs, her cancer is no longer curable, but it is treatable. As you can imagine, this was incredibly hard news for someone just shy of her 29th birthday to hear.

Alex is undergoing treatment at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and is responding well to her initial rounds of chemotherapy.  She is a cherished daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and cousin. Alex has spent her life making people feel important, special and understood. She is a powerful presence in the recovery community in Buffalo, and she has helped more people than she will ever know through some of the worst moments of their lives. She is a natural fighter. With the long road ahead of her, Alex and her family appreciate all the support and well wishes! Please consider a shirt purchase or donation to her online fundraiser.
