    The Need

In October of 2018, 3 year old Eva was diagnosed with a rare and malignant type of brain tumor called Ependymoma. She underwent immediate surgery followed by 33 rounds of radiation at Roswell Park. She handled it all with courage and amazing resiliency. Eva is currently disease free and continues to make amazing strides in her recovery. Eva’s long term prognosis is relatively unknown as this highly reoccurant disease has had very limited research results to date.

The CERN Foundation (Collaborative Ependymoma Research Network) works to provide a better understanding of Ependymoma as well as to fund new research into causes, treatment and long term outcomes of patients afflicted with this disease.
