    The Family of Mariah Juarez

On May 10th, 2023, the Juarez family received the devastating news that their loved one, Mariah Juarez, had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. What doctors initially thought to be a cyst was actually Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Triple Negative Breast Cancer is a rare and aggressive cancer that requires aggressive treatments to fight. Shortly after being diagnosed Mariah began receiving chemotherapy treatments that would make her day to day life difficult.

Unfortunately she was forced to leave her job because of this. As a single mother of 3, this was detrimental for them. The family worked hard to help make ends meet and threw a benefit in July of 2023, unfortunately in December of 2023 the money ran out. Mariah concluded her IV chemo treatments in December of 2023 and was cleared to have a single mastectomy in January 2024. After her surgery we received the wonderful news that her margins were clear and Mariah was free from disease. Mariah continues to take chemo maintenance treatments which has limited her to working part time only.

As she still works to play catchup from this years finances she still has to worry about a recurrence and plan for the future. Fund raised through sales of this design will help take care of her and her children.

    Chiavetta’s Catering

Chiavetta's has been a BBQ staple in Western New York since we fired up the pit in 1954. For nearly seven decades, we've had the pleasure of serving mouthwatering BBQ to our community. Our story is one of tradition, and our hearts are deeply committed to Buffalo, the city we call home.

From our beginnings, we've grown to serve the community through parking lot pop-up chicken BBQ's, takeout, catering, and fundraising. Our core values of commitment, community, and tradition are not just words to us; they're the very essence of who we are. We're not just a BBQ destination; we're a part of the community's fabric, bringing people together through a shared food experience.
