    The Need

On July 18, 2020, Andy and Courtney’s 12th wedding anniversary, Andy suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury in a pool accident. He was left a quadriplegic. Andy was such an active person. He was always on the go - biking, kayaking, hiking, coaching, playing rugby, building, renovating and playing with his children. Andy has incredible drive and determination to get stronger. He goes to therapy 3 times per week and exercises daily to hopefully regain function. He never gives up.  Their life has been turned upside down but they keep pushing forward and make the best of the situation. They had to move their two young children to a new handicap accessible home. The kids miss “the old daddy” and their “old life” but are working to find their new normal. Andy is unable to work at this time due to his injury and Courtney is taking a sabbatical to care for Andy, who requires 24/7 care. Many of Andy’s medical necessities are not covered by insurance.  We want to help! Please consider a shirt purchase or donation to his online fundraiser.
