Lisa is a dedicated nurse and has spent her life taking care of others and helping those in need. She is selfless, loving and kind with a heart of gold. 

December of 2022 Lisa suddenly lost her husband and best friend of 20 years of marriage. While trying to grieve this tremendous loss, a few months later in the spring of 2023 she was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. Since her diagnosis, Lisa has been out of work while undergoing several months of vigorous chemotherapy treatments and is currently recovering from her first major surgery before continuing treatment. Throughout this battle of loss, grief and disease, she has remained incredibly strong and hopeful for brighter days ahead.
